The Interior Deck on a passenger ship or a freight ship is a challenging surfacing job. Especially the cabins and lounges surfacing, either underlay or exposed, needs a self-leveling coating that must provide a hard-elastic and flame retardant, but also a highly durable and abrasion resistant surface, capable of withstanding long term pedestrian traffic and wear due to working conditions. If it is exposed it must also offer an aesthetic look to the surface to enhance the design of the deck.

MARICOAT® 2000F

Properties

The MARICOAT 2000f is a self-leveling, two component, hard-elastic, flame-retardant, self-leveling polyurethane coating with high impact and abrasion strength and very good resistance to acidic and basic solutions, used for self-leveling floor coating constructions.

Cures by reaction (cross linking) of the two components.

Applications

The MARICOAT 2000 is mainly used in medium duty floor coating as an hard-elastic self leveling coating.

Due to its properties is widely used for:

MARIPUR® 7100

Properties

The MARIPUR® 7100 is a colored, one component, highly durable, aromatic polyurethane thin-layer floor coating.

The MARIPUR® 7100 is specially designed for use as a floor coating, providing high mechanical strength, high abrasion and chemical resistance.

Cures by reaction with ground and air moisture.

Applications

The MARIPUR® 7100 is mainly used on concrete floors, on interior surfaces. Due to its long lasting unchangeable properties is widely used for:

MARIPUR® 7200

Properties

The MARIPUR® 7200 is a colored, one component, highly durable, aliphatic polyurethane thin-layer floor coating.

The MARIPUR® 7200 is specially designed for use as a floor coating in external surfaces, providing high mechanical strength, high abrasion and chemical resistance. It is color stable, UV-stable and weather-stable so it can withstand the battering of the elements when applied outside.

The MARIPUR® 7200 is   using   a   unique   curing   system (moisture triggered), and unlike other similar systems it does not react with moisture (moisture-cured) and therefore does not form bubbles or blisters when applied in higher thicknesses.

Applications

The MARIPUR® 7200 is mainly used on concrete floors, on exterior or interior surfaces.

MARIPUR® 7700

Properties

The MARIPUR® 7700 is a premium, transparent, glossy, semi-rigid, one component aliphatic polyurethane coating with high impact and abrasion strength and very good UV stability, used for as a transparent top-coat for floor coating constructions or as a transparent concrete sealer.

Cures by reaction with ambient humidity (moisture cure).

Applications

The MARIPUR® 7700 is mainly used in floor coating applications, either as a transparent, UV stable, solvent free coating over polyurethane or epoxy coatings or as a transparent concrete sealer.

Due to its properties is widely used for decorative flooring applications in:
